This was written to briefly explain what is permitted/not permitted in your stories on the site. SimTales is a private website, owned and maintained by Lexie as a home for writers of adult Sim Stories, and aims for freedom of expression in an adult, thoughtful, sensitive and responsible way.
- We do allow coarse language in our stories however, it is advised from a purely critical point of view you don't swear every few words in your stories as that can put people off of what is otherwise a quality piece of writing.
- Sex is allowed in the stories as it has a place in life however, Although nudity may be depicted in your screenshots, pictures in which (parts of) the genitals are exposed to view, are not acceptable in SimTales Stories. This goes for both male and female nudity.
As for story content, the act of two people making love to each other can of course be mentioned and described. However, highly graphical descriptions of “The Act” – however beautiful they may be - should be avoided as they are not considered appropriate for SimTales Stories. - Drugs, alcohol and other substances are permitted, though use of individual brand names is prohibited unless full copyright is given to the company(s) at the bottom of your story.
- Other brands portrayal are permitted (clothing, makeup, cars etc.) but again FULL copyrights must be given to the brand at the bottom of your story. (yes I'm sorry I know its tedious but its to avoid legal issues with the company's in which case the site would probably need to shut down)
- Please show respect to all religions in your writing, you are allowed to post stories pertaining to church etc, but it's not permitted to proclaim the religion your displaying as the only one that is correct. Please keep opinions of that nature to yourself.This also means that you should not use any profanities in which the Name or title of G-d is being abused.
- Please do not make any racist comments in your writing. It is strictly forbidden.
- PLEASE NOTE! This goes for what your characters say as well as what you write as the narrator.
- If it is brought to my attention that any of these rules are being broken, reprimand will ensue as severe as a prompt removal from the site on a case-by-case basis.
